How to use the Soap Spoon SR1

The SR1 is extremely strong and every arm can handle the hardest triple-milled soaps. The Base Plate, Top Cap, Scoop, and Lance work together in a comfortable, razor‑inspired tool that looks great on the counter and feels good in the hand.

"Which arm to use?" isn’t about the soap, it's about the bowl: Use the arm that best matches your lather bowl design.

General Use, Cleaning, and Feeding
General Use

Soap Spoons are intended for wet shaving conditions. The material is non-reactive with water and some chemicals, but it's also a plastic polymer and therefore shouldn't be exposed to harsher agents or abrasives. Soap Spoons are technical tools and are not certified for food use. Along with everything else in our wet shaving kits, these are for external use only.

Cleaning

Soap Spoons are heat-resistant, and can operate and store well up to 75 C / 167 F. As part of the Soap Spoon's job implies self-cleaning, you don't need to wash it often, but if desired, and hand scrubbing isn't enough to remove residue, clean it as you would an aluminium razor: Scrub it manually with a toothbrush or cloth, with mild dish soap and house-friendly-temperature water. Do not put it in boiling water or a dishwasher or any high temperature or harsh environment.

Feeding

Lots of soap.
